WHAT IS RSVP?
Our local program is sponsored by the City of Waveland and assisted in part by Hancock County. We are federally funded through the Corporation for National and Community service. Hancock County RSVP began in 1974 and servers multiple charitable and non profit organizations throughout Hancock County, MS.
We provide volunteer opportunities for persons over the age of 55, with the goal of enriching retirement for older americans through significant community service. Our volunteers bring a lifetime of talent, experience, and skills to many different community projects!
We are proud that our volunteers annually provide nearly a million dollars worth of service hours to our community each year ~ performing valuable services to so many organizations...
